My ApproachÂ
I believe in a practical perspective on anything, and that’s why my approach to teaching is from a practical standpoint. In all my lectures, you will see a practical approach that shows you how the process of exporting is done. From completing the paper work, to going online and doing what needs to be done to find buyers, my students will always walk away with the knowledge and ability to start their export process after the fifth day.

My Story
As the chairman of African Import Export Solution Limited, I have had the chance to oversee the shipping of millions of items between the USA and Africa, mainly Nigeria
I have seen items shipped by Africans from the USA and have always wondered why Africa is not doing more than it is now in terms of exports. My mission is to teach African small and medium businesses what they need to know in order to take over the world.
Starting from humble beginnings in a village in Delta State, Nigeria, l was opportune to graduate with a First Class Honors degree in Electrical Electronics Engineering from the University of Benin, Nigeria.
From there, I went to do my Masters in Telecommunications and Information Systems at the University of Essex, UK, before joining Schlumberger Oilfield Services as an international field engineer in Cairo, Egypt, and then in Sudan. For five years, I travelled all over Africa, where I got to see the rich culture and potential of Africa despite our challenges.
In 2006, I moved to the United States and spent 3 years working with General Electric as a machinery diagnostics engineer. With friends from Africa sending me money on a daily basis to buy items for them from the USA and ship them down, I got to realise the opportunity that exists and hence started Shoptomydoor.com.
Since 2009, Shoptomydoor has helped well over 150,000 Africans have access to products from the US delivered to their doorsteps. As the world started opening up, we started seeing the need for Africa to tap into the global export market, and we launched our export service from Nigeria to the USA a few years later.
Despite this, it is obvious that many small business lack the knowledge to venture into the US market, and this is where l step in. So join me, as we work to take your business to the next level.
My Beliefs
Africa Has Great Potentials
Having travelled to many countries in the world, one fact remains that Africa has not fully tapped into its potential. With vast natural and human resources, we can only develop our true potential when we have the knowledge to dominate the world market with made-in-Africa products.
This knowledge is what I am out to pass on to small and medium-sized businesses that are willing to expand into a global market.
African Products Are Superior
As the western world begins to see the better health benefits of organic products, Africa has a whole lot to gain by taking over the export of these products rather than China or Latin American countries.
The potential we have in both agriculture and natural resources, coupled with cheap labour, makes us best suited to fill the needs of the American market. We must capitalise on these advantages now and key into legislation such as AGOA to maximise the benefit to the continent.
